Delete your Tantôt account

You can delete your account and your data yourself, from inside the app.

In the app

1. Open Tantôt and go to Profile (or Settings).
2. Tap Delete account.
3. Confirm. This cannot be undone.

A child's account cannot delete itself: the child asks the parent, who can do it.

What is deleted

For an adult account, your profile, friends, groups, photos, places, explored-areas history, Year Chapter, preferences and progress are deleted immediately. Messages you sent stay in the other person's chat but are no longer linked to you after 30 days, and every message is deleted after 180 days at the latest. Reports filed about a conversation may be kept for up to 90 days so they can be reviewed. For an account of someone under 16 we keep the minimum record that shows the parent's approval.

Can't open the app?

Write to contact@friendsmap.me from the email or tell us the phone number on the account, and ask us to delete it. We reply within a few days.
